Answer:
Plagiarism is the act of coping someone's work, answer or idea from the internet.
how to avoid it..
Do not copy the exact words of the person...you can check someone's idea, answer etc to have a wider scope and there creating your own but not coping exact words.
plagiarism is not limited to anything...so for subjects like maths which can have only one way of solving a question for example, you can just look , understand and assimilate how it was solved and then try solving on your own.
NeVEr copy exact words...even though you copied some of the words change see too...try to be creative and make your own answer by yourself.
one reason people (students mostly) indulge in this act is because of lack of proper understanding of a topic etc taught to them or maybe laziness.
so if you failed to understand something taught to you, make sure you call the attention of your teacher, classmates etc to help teach it to you.
also there is a case were you have to search up something from the net....like a constant information and for example a topic you haven't been taught, your teacher gave you an assignment to go and learn it so you might learn and after understanding it you can make a note by yourself from what you understand but sometimes you just have to copy it the way you saw it on the internet...so.......
I Hope this helps you.
