The five-number summary for the data is 27, 76, 39.45, 32.42, 51.75.

How to do a five-number summary?

To do a five-number summary calculate:

 • The largest and smallest value
 • The mean
 • The first and third quartile

The largest and smallest value: In this case, the smallest value is 27 and the largest one is 76 as they represent the smallest and biggest number of products sold in one day.

The mean: To find it add all the numbers and divide the result into the total of values:

27 +28 +29 +35 +35 +36 +37 +42 +43+46+76 / 11 = 39.45

First quartile: Mean of numbers that are under the mean:

27 +28 +29 +35 +35 +36 +37/ 7 = 32.42

Third quartile: Mean of numbers that are over the mean:

42 +43+46+76/ 4 = 51.75

Earth science please help
adoni [48]

Answer:

Geomorphological processes and resultant topography are related with glacial, aeolian, fluvial and ground water movement.

 1. Outwash plain: deposited mostly by water from melting glaciers.
 2. Sand dunes: not related to glaciation
 3. Offshore bar: not related to glaciation
 4. Moraine: deposited by glaciers

Explanation:

Each and every geomorphological process has three types work. For e.g. erosional work, transportational work and depositional work.

 • Outwash plain produced by fluvio-glacial depositional work where firstly glaciers melt and then the water flows and deposits sediments in a flat area.
 • Moraine produced by glacial deposition. Glaciers carry sediments (pebbles, cobbles) and when it deposits in the valley floor it results a distinguished landform i.e. moraine.
 • Sand dunes produced by aeolian action (depositional work). When wind receives obstacle in the form of tree or stone in its way it deposits sand in desert area and produce sand dunes.
 • Offshore bar produced by marine processes. when sediments deposited in the coastal area in a huge quantity and friction take place between the wave and sea floor it creates offshore bar.

The flat surface is called a playa, and playas are diagnostic of this sort of a valley. What is this type of valley?
timama [110]

Answer:

B. Tectonic

Explanation:

Playa is generally dry and flat. This valley is located in New Mexico, Bootheel region. Valley is noteworthy for the lake Playa i.e a dry lake in the north. This region of desert extends to northwards to the foothills of various mountain ranges, canyons and washes. It's a liner north to south trending towards mountain ranges and flat in south. Playas are formed due to evaporation of water that leaves salt behind it may be underlined with stratified sand, silt and clay. The salt flat valley also called salt marshes. A variety of playas bed occurs in restricted basins that are without outlets. The salts that form these are Chlorine, sulfate, and carbonate. Hence this landform is a product of tectonic forces and factors that influence the growth and development of this valley.

Argue A friend makes the following claim: There are enough resources
gavmur [86]

Answer:

No, I don’t agree that there are enough resources on earth to support increase in per capita consumption rates if human population growth rates stay the same.

Explanation:

 • The population is growing at a much higher rate than we expect it to be. According to statistics, in recent years we've been adding about a billion people every 12 or 13 years or so.
 • There are no any resource which lasts eternity, so we must use it very wisely.
 • And we all know the consequences of the increasing population. The resources are limited and population is excessive so with this rate of growth of population and limited resources, we are the guest for few decades only.
