The two factors multiplied together to make a trinomial is (x-1)(3x-2).

Given equation is 3x²-5x+2.

An algebraic equation which of the second degree in x is known as quadratic equation. The quadratic equation in its standard form is ax2 + bx + c = 0, where a and b are the coefficients, x is the variable, and c is the constant term.

In the given equation,

Multiply the first coefficient 3 with the last coefficient 2  so we get 2×3=6

Use any two numbers which on multiply give 6 and on adding or subtracting give -5.

Such two numbers are -2 and -3

On multiplying, (-3)×(-2)=6

On Adding, -3-2=-5

So, break -5x into -3x and -2x and we get

3x²-3x-2x+2

Taking out 3x common from the first two terms and -2 from the last two terms as

3x(x-1)-2(x-1)

Taking out the common term (x-1) as common and get

(x-1)(3x-2)

Hence, the two factors of the equation 3x²-5x+2 that can be multiplied together to make this trinomial is (x-1)(3x-2).

there are 60 students studying sciences (biology chemistry and physics) 7 study biology, chemistry and physics. 12 study biology
Yanka [14]

Step-by-step explanation:

Draw a three-ring Venn diagram.

7 students study all three subjects, where the three circles overlap.

12 students study biology and chemistry, which includes the 7 who also study physics.  So there are 5 who study biology and chemistry but not physics.

Similarly, 15 students study biology and physics, which includes the 7 who also study chemistry.  So there are 8 who study biology and physics but not chemistry.

And, 20 students study chemistry and physics, which includes the 7 who also study biology.  So there are 13 who study chemistry and physics but not biology.

35 students study biology, which includes the 5 who study chemistry, the 8 who study physics, and the 7 who study both chemistry and physics.  Therefore, there are 15 students who study only biology.

Similarly, 32 students study physics, which includes the 8 who study biology, the 13 who study chemistry, and the 7 who study both biology and chemistry.  Therefore, there are 4 students who study only physics.

Since there's a total of 60 students, there must be 8 students who study only chemistry.

Data from the U.S. Department of Education indicates that 46% of business graduate students from private universities had studen
hoa [83]

Answer:

For this case the mean is given by:

\mu = p =0.46

And the standard deviation would be:

\sigma = \sqrt{\frac{0.46*(1-0.46)}{215}}= 0.0340

Step-by-step explanation:

For this case we have the following info given :

n = 215 represent the sample size

p = 0.46 represent the proportion of business graduate students from private universities had student loans

For this case we want to find the distribution for the sample proportion and we know that this distribution is given by:

\hat p \sim N (p , \sqrt{\frac{p(1-p)}{n}})

And for this case the mean is given by:

\mu = p =0.46

And the standard deviation would be:

\sigma = \sqrt{\frac{0.46*(1-0.46)}{215}}= 0.0340
