Answer:

The phenomenon through which certain pollutants (harmful chemicals) get accumulated in tissues of organisms at different trophic levels in increasing concentrations along the food chain, is called Biomagnification.

Explanation:

1)Suppose, DDT is being used in a farmland.

2)There's a water body nearby the farmland and the water is contaminated with the DDT(let's say the quantity: 0.003 ppb).

3)Now the aquatic organisms (Zooplankton) which consume this water also consuming the DDT also.(0.04 ppm)

4)Next these Zooplanktons are consumed by small fishes. (0.5 ppm)

5)These small fishes are then consumed by Large fishes. (2 ppm)

6)These Large Fishes are consumed by Humans or Birds afterwards. (25 ppm)

7) So at each step DDT is also getting accumulated and at each successive trophic level the quantity of Accumulated DDT gets magnified as the organisms on higher trophic levels consume more biomass than the previous ones. This is a classical example of Biomagnification.

____________ is translated by the ribosomes and contains the code that specifies the sequence of amino acids in a polypeptide ch
HACTEHA [7]

mRNA (Messenger RNA) is translated by ribosomes and contains the code that specifies the sequence of amino acids in polypeptide chain.

A single-stranded ribonucleic acid molecule is known as messenger RNA(mRNA) plays a major role in <u>translation</u>.

Translation is the method by which an mRNA codes for a certain protein. mRNA provides the template for<u> protein synthesis</u>.

The ribosome translates the mRNA that is produced from the DNA into a chain of certain amino acids and<u> protein synthesis</u> is facilitated by this <u>amino acid</u> sequence.

<u>The genetic code</u>, which connects the DNA sequence to the amino acid sequence of proteins, is used to "read" the mRNA. Each group of three nucleotides in mRNA forms a codon, and each codon corresponds to a particular amino acid (triplet code).

Thus mRNA contains the code that specifies the<u> sequence of amino acids</u> in a polypeptide chain.

What is true about cellular respiration and 2 facts about photosynthesis and cellular respiration
makvit [3.9K]

Answer:

* The glucose needed for Cellular respiration is delivered by plants. Plants experience a process known as photosynthesis.

* Photosynthesis can be considered as the contrary process of Cellular respiration. Through two processes known as the light reactions and the dark reactions, plants can assimilate and use the energy in daylight. This energy is then changed over alongside water and carbon dioxide from the environment into glucose and oxygen.

* Since this is the contrary process of Cellular respiration, plants and animals are said to have a cooperative relationship. This implies that plants and animals live respectively and advantage from one another.

Explanation:

Cellular respiration is the process by which the substance energy of "food" particles is delivered and incompletely caught as ATP. Starches, fats, and proteins would all be able to be utilized as fills in cellular respiration, yet glucose is most normally utilized as an illustration to analyze the responses and pathways included.
