Modern farming requires a lot of information like chemical fertilizers and pesticides with farming equipment and machinery and good rate . If seeds which are very pricey and therefore not affordable by small farmers. Also, due to excessive use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, there is the degradation of land fertility.
