Hemispheric specialization makes having a stroke on the left side of the brain more severe to recover from than on the opposite side.

Left hemisphere stroke :

When the blood flow towards the left hemisphere of the brain is reduced it causes a stroke. When the left side of the hemisphere gets a stroke it causes paralysis of the right side of the body. It affects the speech of the person. A person is not able to read, write, talk, walk, vision gets blurry, etc. This condition is severe and is not recoverable as it occurs in the left side of the brain. In severe cases, the person can go into a coma.
