Answer:

A. to show how handicrafts are still thriving

C. to show a wide range of popular handicrafts.

Explanation:

The cultural, historical, and artistic history of a nation may be seen in its handicrafts since they are works of art in their own right. Among the many vital economic sectors, the handicraft industry is of special mention. There have been a number of efforts made to categorize and classify the industries that make up the wider tech sector. The following definition of the handicraft industry is meant to be all-inclusive.

I attached the Handicrafts story to answer this question.

His eyes made out the shadowy outlines of a palatial chateau; it was set on a high bluff, and on three sides of it cliffs dived
VladimirAG [237]
The author is using a type of figurative language called personification. Personification is when you give human characteristics or traits to something that is non human. When the author writes, "<span>the sea licked greedy lips in the shadows." the author is giving the sea human characteristics. The sea does not actually have lips.</span>

Explain how one of the pilgrims from "the prologue" represents an issue of medieval society?
gavmur [86]

In <em>The Canterbury Tales</em>, Chaucer describes a pilgrimage that was common during medieval times among English Christians: a visit to Canterbury Cathedral to visit the shrine of Saint Thomas Beckett.

In his prologue, the author introduces several pilgrims he claims to have met. Most of these pilgrims are an exaggerated version of a medieval archetype. Therefore, by examining them, we can gain some insight into the issues that were present in medieval society.

For example, the priest is described as the "best one around," and as an extremely pious and honorable man. The nun is similarly praised for her good maners and innocence. This shows the influence that religion had at the time, as the priest is so admired for being a representative of the Church. It also shows that priests and nuns had more access to education and better opportunities in general. That is why the nun is so polite and has such good manners. People not having access to education was a major problem of medieval times.

Another example is the case of the knight and the summoner. While the knight is presented as an example of the perfect man, the summoner is physically repulsive. This gives us some insight into the issue of class and social status of the time. While knights are extremely valued and admired for their work, summoners are seen as dishonest and unethical.

What is Reverend Hale's main qualification for the job of discerning
neonofarm [45]

Answer:

D) He identified a woman as a witch in his own church, and she was  shown to be not guilty.

Explanation:

<u>It is said that Reverend John Hale has identified a woman to be a witch year before in his parish in Beverly</u>. The woman in question turned out to be not guilty, but “a mere pest”. Still, Reverent Hale thinks of himself as qualified to detect satanic doings and witchcraft, and others think of him in this manner as well.

<u> Even though Reverend Parris of Salem knows the woman of Beverly did not turn out to be a witch, he still called Reverend Hale to look into the matter.</u> He presents him as having experience in demonic arts, and Mrs. Putnam agrees.

Therefore, his false accusation still remains as his qualifier and we can see how people tend to believe church Reverends even when they wrong.
