1. Why was there no revolution in England?
Ivan

Explanation:

1. English peasants failed to carry out a “true revolution” because they were peasants, not because they were English (or incipiently British). The most radical elements in later bourgeois revolutions (such as the French Revolution, or the Europeanrevolutions of 1848) likewise went down to defeat.

2. On 30th March 1856, the Crimean War was formally brought to an end with the signing of the Treaty of Paris. This formal recognition signed at the Congress of Paris came after Russia accepted a humiliating defeat against the alliance of Britain, France, the Ottoman Empire and Sardinia.

3. The Working class consisted of unskilled laborers who worked inbrutal and unsanitary conditions. They did not have access to clean water and food, education for their children, or proper clothing. It is common that men were influenced by aspects such a domesticity, economy, gender roles, imperialism, manners, religion and sporting competition. Men in the Victorian Era were expected to be gentlemen. They were meant to provide for their families, as well as the protector. Women were expected to behave and be submissive. For both common men and women, family was the most important.

4. The middle class grew in diversity, and accumulated most of the wealth, and they were all so different that at the time one could barely even give a detailed definition of middle class. Their strong and growing work force strengthened the english economy, and for their hard work they received the most benefit.

Many immigrants to the United States in the late twentieth century came from
morpeh [17]

Answer:

Europeans formed the mass of immigration to the United States. This immigration began with the colonization of the country, still in the seventeenth century and lasted until the mid-1970s.

Explanation:

England was in a troubled mood. The official religion was the Anglican, and consequently followers of several other Protestant denominations were persecuted. The enclosure of the fields also contributed to thousands of people leaving the rural areas and heading to the cities, which became saturated. The way out of this religious and economic crisis was to immigrate to North America. The first English colony successfully established in North America was Jamestown, Virginia, in 1607. Pilgrims and Puritans settled in Massachusetts in the following years. From there, thousands of Protestants moved there, giving rise to the region known as New England, the embryo for the formation of the Thirteen Colonies and, consequently, the United States.

It is to be noted that many settlers came from other parts of Europe. In 1626 the Indians sold the island of Manhattan for 25 dollars for Dutch colonists to occupy the region of the Hudson River and to found New Amsterdam, where nowadays is New York. Fleeing from religious persecution, thousands of Germans immigrated to Pennsylvania from 1680. The eighteenth century was marked by the arrival of large numbers of immigrants from Scotland and Ireland, who colonized the interior of the Thirteen Colonies. These settlers were quickly assimilated into dominant English culture.
