The Champagne counts sponsored the most important six-times-a-year trade fair during the twelfth and thirteenth centuries.

Count of Champagne

 • From 950 through 1316, the count of Champagne presided over the County of Champagne. In the late eleventh century, Champagne developed from the County of Troyes, and Hugh I was the first to formally use the title count of Champagne.
 • In 1234, the Kingdom of Navarre passed to the Champagne Count Theobald IV.
 • The French King Philip IV was married to his great-granddaughter, Joan.
 • The title of Champagne count was last held by their son Louis after Joan's death in 1305, and it was merged into the royal domain when Louis succeeded to the French throne in 1314.
 • The position of the seneschal of France was also passed down to the titular counts of Champagne.
 • In the twelfth and thirteenth centuries, the Champagne counts supported the most important six-times-a-year trade fair.

3. What were some of the slogans, words and terms first used in the 1840 election
Gre4nikov [31]

Answer:

The convention nominated former Senator John Tyler from Virginia for Vice President. The two would go on to win the 1840 presidential election by defeating Van Buren. Because Harrison (born in Virginia) was considered a Northerner (as a resident of Ohio), the Whigs needed to balance the ticket with a Southerner.
