Forgiveness should come before perfection. Kingsolver on her visit to Japan came to know about it when she visits her japanese friend's small perfect house and sewed out her misery about everything Kingsolver did was wrong.

Meaning of forgiveness for Japanese.

Barbara Kingsolver in her essay "Going to Japan" in which the main theme was 'Have you ever felt out of place' she visits Japan. As she visits she finds out the reason for the happiness of the people of Japan is not their perfection but the attitude of forgiveness and pardoning for the imperfectionists. Also they understand that nobody has perfection even they are not perfect and other people make mistake and it is great to forgive them. In the essay one of the author's friend from Japan has an insistence on forgiveness as the highest satisfaction.

Answer:

#1) Invasions by Barbarian tribes. The most straightforward theory for Western Rome's collapse pins the fall on a string of military losses sustained against outside forces. Rome had tangled with Germanic tribes for centuries, but by the 300s “barbarian” groups like the Goths had encroached beyond the Empire's borders.#2 )One of the many factors that contributed to the fall of the Roman Empire was the rise of a new religion, Christianity. The Christian religion, which was monotheistic ran counter to the traditional Roman religion, which was polytheistic (many gods). Finally, by this time, Romans considered their emperor a god. #3)Christians believe in one God that created heaven, earth, and the universe. The belief in one God originated with the Jewish religion. Christians believe Jesus is the “Messiah” or savior of the world. They also believe that he is the son of God.

Answer:

The siege of Tyre was orchestrated by Alexander the Great in 332 BC during his campaigns against the Persians. The Macedonian army was unable to capture the city, which was a strategic coastal base on the Mediterranean Sea, through conventional means because it was on an island and had walls right up to the sea. Alexander responded to this problem by first blockading and besieging Tyre for seven months, and then by building a causeway that allowed him to breach the fortifications.

It is said that Alexander was so enraged at the Tyrians' defence of their city and the loss of his men that he destroyed half the city. According to Arrian, 8,000 Tyrian civilians were massacred after the city fell. Alexander granted pardon to all who had sought sanctuary in the temple, including Azemilcus and his family, as well as many nobles. 30,000 residents and foreigners, mainly women and children, were sold into slavery.
