telo118 [61]

Answer:

1. Hijo

2. Se conmueve

3 Muerte

4. Despedirse

5. Los artículos

6. Gerente

Explanation:

In this activity we have to fill in the blanks with the missing words based on the short video "Adiós Mamá". To summarize, the short is about a man who is at the cashier on a supermarket waiting for his turn, when a woman approaches him telling him that he looks exactly like his son. The man is reluctant at first, but the starts getting emotional about the situation when the woman tell him that his son passed away in a car accident. The man tries to console her, and the woman tells him that she never had the chance to say goodbye to his son, and asks him to pretend that he is her son, and say goodbye to her, saying "Goodbye Mother". After some thought, the man agrees, and the woman leaves saying "goodbye son", to which the man replies "goodbye mother". After that, the cahier tells the man that there's a problem registering one of his products, and calls the store manager to fix it. Once it's fixed, the man gets the bill and is surprised by the amount, as he only took 3 products, but the cashier tells him that it also includes his mother´s products. The man then learns that he was scammed by the woman.

The transcript for the video is the following:

SEÑORA Se parece a mi hijo. Realmente es igual a él.

HOMBRE Ah, pues no, no sé que decir.

SEÑORA Sus facciones son idénticas.

HOMBRE ¿De veras?

SEÑORA Tiene los mismos ojos que él. ¿Lo puedo tocar?

HOMBRE No. No, no. Perdón.

HOMBRE ¿Y a mí, qué?

HOMBRE Por favor, no llore.

CAJERA Gracias.

GERENTE De nada.

CAJERA Son tres mil cuatrocientos ochenta y ocho
