<u>In “</u><u>Farewell to Manzanar</u><u>”, the main character went back to the old camp in Manzanar much later in her life to reflect on what used to be her life there as a displaced Japanese in America. Both texts show people who are unhappy with their situations and willing to face</u><u> adversity.</u>

The three works depict individuals who are ostracized by society due to both their lives and the society's prejudicial perception of them.
However, marginalized people do not submit and accept the unequal treatment that the system and society force on them in any of the books.
These people are prepared to deal with the difficulties of their current situation.
They are willing to battle and improve their quality of life despite their fear of failing because they are aware that these things are untrue, regardless of what society may think of them.
