The failure to use familiar objects in novel ways to solve problems because of a tendency to view objects only in terms of their customary functions is called Functional Fixedness.

Functional fixedness is a cognitive bias that hinders people from using things differently from how they have been used in the past.

Gestalt psychology, a branch of psychology that emphasizes holistic thinking, is where the concept of functional fixedness originates.

Karl Duncker was the first to identify functional fixedness as a conceptual impediment to using something in a different way when doing so is required to address a challenge.

Because they are unable to use the resources entrusted to them for any other purpose than what they were intended for, this "block" limits the ability of a person to employ those resources to complete a task.

The situation at hand and the behavior of the other person in the conflict are more powerful determinants of a person’s conflict
Annette [7]

Letter A is the correct answer.

When speaking of conflict, people's genders or ethnic background are not as powerful determinants of a person's conflict style as the situation at hand and the behaviors of the ones involved. In order for them to have a constructive conflict, it's necessary to identify the problem (or unmet needs), make a date, describe the problem/need, consider the other person's point of view, try to negoatiate a solution, and follow-up the solution.
