ROBERTO: Encantado. Mucho gusto en conocerlas.

TÚ: este evento es maravilloso!

ROBERTO: Si, ¡hay mucha gente y me encanta!

Explanation:

We use aquí to refer to something that is near us or to state that the person is in the same place as us.

We use allí or allá to refer to something or someone that is far from us or not in the same room as us.

We use este to refer to something that is near us or in the same room, in the case of the event we are part of it, so we say -Este es un evento maravilloso-

We use ese or esa to refer to someone that can be far or not.
