The first encounter between Francisco Pizarro and his advancing Spanish army and the Inca ruler Atahuallpa took place in Cajamarca, and Jared Diamond addresses it in Guns, Germs, and Steel.

According to Diamonds, the Europeans were the first to have firearms, germs, and steel due to their geographic location and historical background, allowing them to conquer other less advanced civilizations.

The element of surprise was on the side of the Spanish. The Incas had no reason to believe the Spanish would be so treasonous. The Native Americans had no defense against the Spanish's use of European-style weapons like firearms.

The Spaniards start off by ambushing the Incas, discharging their weapons, and emerging on horseback from hiding. The conquistadors attacked the Incas with their swords as they rode because they were trembling and looking rather than holding their ground.

If the Incas had stood their ground against the cavalry, they might have defeated them by sheer numbers if they had more knowledge of this kind of combat.

What is cultural relativism?
zvonat [6]

Answer:

A. Judging a person's actions based on his or her cultural context

Explanation:

Cultural relativism is when you judge actions based on their own culture instead of being judged relatively to another culture. This is not ideal in every situation since there are some cultures around the world that practice some very unhealthy or dangerous rituals which we find bad in our western culture. Or for example, they used to burn widows in some parts of India and we would not tolerate that in the USA for example regardless of your culture because that is not moral.

By the end of 1920s, consumers buying and the economy began to slow down
marishachu [46]

Is there a question? Although, I went ahead and wrote this here for you.

Buying started declining towards the end of the 1920's. The factories had to cut back when stores that had huge amounts of goods stopped ordering from factories. Even before the stock market crashed, large amounts of factory workers were laid off. When the recession arrives at last, even more people are risking their work and wealth.
