Because many words can be misunderstood, it's best to choose words that tend to have a neutral or positive connotation.

How to avoid problems with Multiple Connotation words?

There are numerous words whose connotation, as well as being perceived positively by a number of people or a community, could also be perceived as negative by another group, causing problems in debates or academic discourses.

Due to the aforementioned, it is best to choose very well words whose connotation is usually neutral or friendly to the general public and make them part of the person's daily speech, in order to avoid misunderstandings.

Among the first words to be removed from a speaker's vocabulary are those that could have an obscene connotation, such as those with which body parts are colloquially mentioned.

Finally, the speaker must promote a warm language that allows listeners to connect with their words, in such a way that they are attracted by them, as well as by their arguments.

What does this Jamaican term mean in English:
Mi kompolshan go a toun laas wiik.
Georgia [21]

Answer:

It means I was compelled to go to town last week.

Explanation:

kompolshan is used to replace compelled in jamaican grammar meaning: Compulsion in english grammar.

It is spelled so differently from our grammar, that it was written toun laas wiik instead of town last week.

Lastly mi is always (that I know of) used for the english term I as in singular one's self.

Catch my drift, ride my wave, and don't drown,
