Why was it not easy to exploit britain’s coal resources?
natima [27]
Britain had a lot of coal resources which helped them enormously develop and actually made it possible to some extent for Industrial Revolution to happen. But to mine coal was not an easy process. Coal was located deep underground and one the major problems was how to pump the water out of the mines.  Only after the use of the steam pump did the process become somewhat easier.

More Details down there

The Native American Party, renamed the American Party in 1855 and commonly known as the Know Nothing movement, was an American nativist political party that operated nationally in the mid-1850s. It was primarily anti-Catholic, xenophobic, and hostile to immigration, starting originally as a secret society. The movement briefly emerged as a major political party in the form of the American Party. Adherents to the movement were to reply "I know nothing" when asked about its specifics by outsiders, thus providing the group with its common name.

Anti-Japanese hysteria on the West Coast was caused, in part, by racism and fear.
Colt1911 [192]
Any time there's mass hysteria against a particular ethnic, racial, or religious group, it's a result of racism and fear. In the 1930's Hitler drummed up German racism against Jews and stoked fears that the Jews had too much economic power. In Rwanda in the early 1990s, the Hutus and Tutsis did the same to one another. Even today there's immense racism and fear in the U.S. against Moslems and even Hispanics, most of which is being stirred up by politicians and other prominent leaders. This kind of hysteria is never grounded in reason; it's always the result of racism and fear. So your anser is 100% true.
