The Chinese Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors were Emperor Xi, Emperor Sui and Emperor Yan, Yellow Emperor, Zhuanxu, Emperor Kù, Emperor Yao and Shun. A Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors is not a true emperor, but a tribal leader or tribal alliance leader who emerged in the middle or later stages of primitive society and made outstanding contributions to humanity, and later generations honored them as “Emperors” or “Emperors.”.
