Diurnal tides are more prevalent at middle latitudes when the tide-raising bodies are at high declination.

Between locations as well as occasionally, tides vary in frequency, direction, and movement. Based on how frequently they occur in a day or 24 hours, or based on their height, tides can be divided into different types.

The most typical tidal cycle has two high tides and two low tides each day, and is known as a semi diurnal wave. Approximately the same heights are reached between both the each high or low tide. One high tide and one low tide occur each day in a diurnal wave. The height of the following high and low tides is about the same.

Yakvenalex [24]

What makes up the biodiversity of the Amazon Rain Forest?

Answer:

"Over 3 million species live in the rainforest, and over 2,500 tree species (or one-third of all tropical trees that exist on earth) help to create and sustain this vibrant ecosystem." Also, "because rainforests are located in tropical regions, they receive a lot of sunlight. . .Since there is a lot of sunlight, there is a lot of energy in the rainforest. This energy is stored in plant vegetation, which is eaten by animals. The abundance of energy supports an abundance of plant and animal species."

What significance did the Mississippi River hold on the Louisiana Purchase ?
rjkz [21]
The purchase gave the U.S. control of the Mississippi River and the port city of New Orleans, both of which were used by farmers to ship their crops and get paid. It also helped get rid of one country that might try to harm the new nation because France sold all their North American territory.
