The  use  metaphorical sentences can confuse the audience because the metaphorical  description  usually make use of  an implied comparison, instead of literal comparison.

As a Critical Thinker, one canuse  assessment of reasons to evaluate statements as well as assumptions in ordinary situations, it will be more confusing in getting the point by ordinary audience.

And as a thinker, you need to consider the understand of the audience, because communication can only be effective when the receiver is able to get the the message.

And if metaphorical sentences are been used, the receiver of the message can misinterpret the message, which is not good for an effective communication.
