Answer:

The answer that correctly responds to the question <em>"¿Te gusta el maestro?"</em> is:

  • <u><em>Sí, me gusta el maestro</em></u>.

Explanation:

The translation of the answer is:

  • <u>Yes, I like the teacher</u>.

In a conversation, there are usually two parts, the sender and the receiver, as the sender seems to be a person outside of us but asks us with the word <em>"te,"</em> it can be inferred that the answer must be given by the noun <em>"yo," </em>therefore, the word <u><em>"me." </em></u>

The conjugation of the verb <em>"gustar,"</em> <u>applied to a singular noun (because the noun that is directed the verb is singular and male </u><em><u>"maestro"</u></em><u>)</u> and depending on objects pronouns is:

  • <em>Me </em><em><u>gusta</u></em><em>. </em>
  • <em>Te </em><em>gusta. </em>
  • <em>Le </em><em>gusta. </em>
  • <em>Nos </em><em>gusta. </em>
  • <em>Os </em><em>gusta. </em>

For this reason, the right option is <u><em>"Sí, me gusta el maestro."</em></u>

Question 1(Multiple Choice Worth 1 points) The equivalent ending for an adverb in English that ends in "ly" is ________ . mente
madam [21]
The equivalent ending for an adverb in English that ends in "ly" is mente. The first option is the correct one. This is the most common way to form adverbs in Spanish. You just take an adjective, for example, triste (sad) and add -mente to its end in order to create an adverb: tristemente, meaning sadly. It is quite the same as in English, where you have an adjective sad, and add -ly to its ending to create an adverb sadly.

EleoNora [17]
Estimado Jorge,
