People in Latin America have fought many years for Independence and sovereignty. They are attached to their culture and traditions. They respect their regions and beliefs, and that is a factor that impedes to form total unity under a central government. Throughout the years there have been many different factions in some Latin American and Central American countries that have been expressed in the many revolutions in the region, such in the case of Nicaragua.
