The cycling club is made up of 40 people.

How to find how many people belong to the club?

To find the number of people who belong to the club we must identify what information we have.

 • We know that each person went on a trip at least once.
 • On the first trip it was 50% of the members, while on the second it was 80%.
 • Additionally, we know that 12 members went on both trips, meaning that 30% equals 12 people.

According to the above, we perform the following mathematical operation, rule of three:

If 12 members equals 30%, how many people equals 100%?

 • 100 × 12 ÷ 30 = 40

So the total number of members is 40 people.

Write a report discussing how education can be a key ingredient of effective ministry
EleoNora [17]

Explanation:

Paul ,education prepared him to be an effective speaker and gave him the knowledge to use a particular groups' own cultural background as a starting point to show how Jesus fit in with their philosophy. For example, his extensive knowledge of the Torah and rabbinical writings allowed him to argue that Jesus was the fulfillment of Messianic prophesies. His knowledge of Greek culture and philosophy allowed him to point out that Jesus was the ideal towards whom their philosophers had been striving, and that in fact the Greeks had already been worshipping Him as "the unknown God" ... they just hadn't known his name. Both of these strategies won converts. Read Acts chapter 17 for more details.

Maybe you asked this on the wrong section, but anyways I'll help you.

Some plantation owners punished enslaved persons when they tried to escape, the enslaved people wanted to escape because they where treated so badly, so they wanted freedom. The "owners" of them didn't want that to happen so they punished them in a very bad way.
