The Odyssey is a tale of Odysseus' 10-year struggle of returning home after the Trojan War. While Odysseus battles with mythical creatures and also faces the wrath of the gods, his wife Penelope and son Telemachus fend off suitors competing for her hand and the throne of Ithaca - long enough for Odysseus to return.
