The economy is currently producing at point c, 10 Thousand wrenches are the opportunity cost of moving to point b.

At point C. It produces 10 thousand hammers and 40 thousand wrenches. If we move to point B, it will produce 23 thousand hammers and 30 thousand wrenches.

So to produce13 thousand additional hammers, the production of wrenches should be cut by 10 thousand. It is the opportunity cost of producing extra 13 thousand hammers.

Suppose Megan is considering emigrating from her home country.
Evgen [1.6K]

Answer:

a. emigrate

b. more

Explanation:

Immigration attractiveness is a factor that draws immigrants to a foreign country.  A country becomes more attractive when the economic prospects are brighter than at the home-country.  The degree of immigration law enforcement also helps to either attract or deter potential migrants.  In recent years, wars and misgovernment have propelled millions to move boundaries.  At the same time, countries are imposing migration restrictions by imposing and implementing strict laws.

On January 1, 2018, Race Corp. acquired 80% of the voting common stock of Gallow Inc. During the year, Race sold to Gallow for $
andreyandreev [35.5K]

Answer:

Consolidated income: 954,800 dollars

Explanation:

Gallow income x race participation:

    $   204,000    x   80%   = $ 163,200

The gross profit in the infra-entity transaction will be eliminated

$ 450,000 - $ 330,000 = $ 120,000 gross profit

15% remains at Gallow so: $ 120,000 x 15% = $ 18,000 gross profit for the unsold inventory.

We now multiply by Race participation: $ 18,000 x 80% = $ 14,400 unrealized gain.

Consolidated income:

Race income:   806,000

Gallo income    163, 200

unrealized gain (14, 400)

Total:                954,800
