TASK 2: PREDICTING ECONOMIC ACTIVITY Having economic data is good for historical knowledge, but it is also essential to attempt

to predict future economic activity. Based on the information you found in the Economic Data Collection and Analysis task of the Unit 2 Course Activity, compose a 200- to 300-word essay that predicts what you think will happen to the economy in the next year. Use at least five statistics you recorded in the Unit 2 Course Activity to justify your answer.

As an economist, I forecast that in a year time, the economy is expected to slow as the Federal Reserve continues to tighten monetary policy

This however; also means that recession will occur during the first half of 2023.

Furthemoe, I also predict that in a year time, growth will slow down to 0.5 percent year-over

What is economic data?

Economic data can simply be defined as functional measure of the financial wellbeing of a country, regions, or individual markets at a given period of time

However, there two major types of economic data:

 1. Cross-sectional data
 2. Time series data

So therefore, as an economist, I predict that the future of the economy in a year time is expected to slow as the Federal Reserve continues to tighten monetary policy

ILL GIVE YOU BRAINLIESR!!How did the economic and political policies of President Herbert Hoover and FDR differ? *
Pepsi [2]

Answer:

The second option: FDR took more action to fix the depression.

Explanation:

As one of the new-era Democrats, FDR implemented a series of changes famously known as the "New Deal." These legislative policies included everything from social security, tax reform, banking reform, and aggressive policies meant to tackle the Great Depression.

Hoover on the other hand, was much more laid back in his economic policies. Do note however, I'm assuming these questions refer to the great depression. If they do not, there is a good chance the answer could also be the fourth one.

Explain why the causes of the great depression led to calls for government action and reform
Stella [2.4K]
The stock market was caused by stock market speculation, over production of goods, an unregulated banking system, and unprotected consumerism.

If reform was not done in the US to fix the stem problems leading to the Great Depression, then a depression would happen again. The country wanted to prevent a depression like that from ever happening again.

Many of the New Deal programs dealt with reforming the banking industry and putting regulations, laws, and protections into place to protect people's money. The stock market was also regulated with the Securities Exchange Commission created to watch over the stock market.
