Rules are important to him because the policies are the most effective thing holding their civilization together. The consequences are a broken civilization and savagery.

Rules are crucial to Ralph because he knows that the is the only thing that sticking to an agreed set of rules is the only factor with the intention to allow the institution to preserve order. this is obtrusive when the men are assembly and Jack overlooked the rules announcing, "Who cares?".

When he started the rules are the simplest factor we've got (Ralph 91) it is because they don't have any parents to help them, no meals without hunting and no one to offer steerage. they say that due to the fact that is the only element they do have, without the guidelines, it would be all people for themselves.

Does the greater inequality exist because of race or gender?
allochka39001 [22]
Many Americans of goodwill who want to reduce poverty believe that race is no longer relevant to understanding the problem, or to fashioning solutions for it. This view often reflects compassion as well as pragmatism. But we cannot solve the problem of poverty -- or, indeed, be the country that we aspire to be -- unless we honestly unravel the complex and continuing connection between poverty and race.

Angela was a teacher who spent lots of time preparing lessons and grading papers, but she hadn’t been expecting teaching to take
Mazyrski [523]

Answer:

reality shock.

Explanation:

In occupational term, Reality shock refers to a situation when new workers experience a massive difference between the 'expectation' of what their job would be, and the 'actual condition' of their job.

From the example above,

Angela is most likely only been imagining about the 'good part'  of being a teacher during her preparation years (communicating with the students, helping the students reach their full potential, socializing with parents and other teacher , etc).

But Angela never realize that the actual job of being a teacher actually involve a long and tedious repetitive duties (such as grading papers and preparing lessons).

Josh sits in his kitchen in the city projects trying to sip his coffee while inhaling the nauseating fumes wafting from the town
ASHA 777 [7]

A sociologist would likely call this phenomenon as environmental racism. The environmental racism involves of having to point out injustice with mixed racial context in the environment. It could be seen from Josh’s actions and behavior as he views the environment differently and that he wants to move but he couldn't and he probably thinks that he is living in a place like that solely because he is from a poor part of the town.
