❖ I believe the correct answer choice is C. People are more likely to learn and practice morality when it is taught to them with kindness. (Is this the story with Ms. Jones and Roger? I read this a few months back if so)

What is one way that “The Maori: Genealogies and Origins in New Zealand” contrasts with “The Raven and the First Men: The Beginn
Mila [183]
The Maori: Genealogies and Origins in New Zealand contrasts with "The Raven and the First Men: The Beginnings of the Haida" in the following way. The Raven is a central character in Haida mythology. He is sometimes known as a trickster, but the Haida believe that Raven is a complex reflection of myself. In Maori mythology the Maori believe there was nothing in the beginning. The beginning was made from nothing. The original parents, the Earth mother and the Sky father came from this nothingness. They had 70 male children who, in turn, became the gods of the Maori.

ddd [48]

Answer:

C. gives and takes life

Explanation;

In the poem Dale Wisely says that

"Waters split the firmament,

dividing heaven from earth

in a splashy feat of parting

here from… there."

The stanza in the poem is actually differentiating heaves from earth which means that life on earth and life after-here is a firmament between earth and skies. Life on earth is where living things are born and in the heavens they go when their life is taken.
