Read the passage. Love and Friendship by Emily Brontë Love is like the wild rose-briar, Friendship is like the holly-tree— The h

olly is dark when the rose-briar blooms But which will bloom most constantly? The wild rose-briar is sweet in spring, Its summer blossoms scent the air; yet wait till winter comes again And who will call the wild-briar fair? What is the theme of this poem? Friendship is more constant than love. Love lasts longer than friendship. Everything happens according to nature. Some flowers are prettier than others.

Answer:

The theme of this poem is A) Friendship is more constant than love.

Explanation:

In her poem "Love and Friendship", Emily Bronte compares love to a wild rose-briar and friendship to a holly-tree. The rose-briar (love) is more intense, it blooms beautifully, and its scent fills the air. However, as soon as difficulties come (the winter), the rose-briar (love) perishes. The holly-tree (friendship) may not be as attractive as the other one, but it lasts, it is constant, even in winter it does not die. Thus, it is safe to conclude that the theme of this poem is A) Friendship is more constant than love.

Explain the difference between two dogs one that is malicious and one that is not .
Likurg_2 [28]

Answer:

One dog could be overtly loving and one could bark at a simple engine rev. The dog that is loving wants to please you, wants you to show it love back. The other dog is scared, maybe the dog was hurt before so it wants to hurt you before you are able to hurt it. Its a sad thing, but dogs run on pure instinct, unlike humans who run on intuition.
