Pseudomonas aeruginosa is highly chemical resistant, an opportunist that produces many diverse enzymes, motile, found in soil and water.

Pseudomonas aeruginosa :

A widespread rod-shaped, gram-negative, aerobic-facultatively anaerobic bacterium called Pseudomonas aeruginosa can harm both plants and animals, including humans. P. aeruginosa, a species of significant medical importance, is a multidrug-resistant pathogen known for its widespread distribution, intrinsically sophisticated mechanisms of antibiotic resistance, and association with serious illnesses, including hospital-acquired infections like ventilator-associated pneumonia and various sepsis syndromes.

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is positive for oxidase, catalase, and citrate. Around the planet, it is present in most artificial surroundings, water, skin flora, and soil. P. aeruginosa has colonized a variety of natural and man-made habitats because it does well in both normal and low-oxygen atmospheres. It consumes a variety of organic materials for nourishment, and due to its adaptability, it can infect animals with weak immune systems or tissues that have been injured.

The second messenger in the following G-protein-linked-receptor pathway is signal moleculeG protein linked receptor activated G
melamori03 [73]

Answer:

Answer is D - cAMP.

Explanation:

cAMP is a small molecule that functions as an intracellular signaling molecule - a second messenger. The first messenger would be the thing that activated the GPCR (e.g. a hormone). The GPCR is a signal transducer (converts extracellular signal to intracellular signal). Once activated, the GPCR activates adenylate cyclase which can be called a signal effector - it is an enzyme that produces cAMP.

A woman with normal BRCA alleles has a child with a man who has one mutated BRCA1 allele. What is the probability that the child
grigory [225]

Answer:

50%

Explanation:

According to the given information, the woman has normal BRCA alleles while the man carries one copy of the mutated BRCA allele (BRCA1). A diploid organism such as human beings can have two BRCA alleles. A child gets one BRCA allele from the mother and the other from the father.

The child of the couple would get one normal allele from the woman. However, with respect to the BRCA allele, the man would form two types of gametes in equal proportion. The 50% of his gametes would have the mutated BRCA1 allele while the rest 50% would carry the normal BRCA allele. Therefore, the man can transmit either normal or mutated BRCA allele to the child. So, there are 50% chances for the child to get the mutated allele.

______ energy is converted into________ energy during the process of_________
bezimeni [28]

Answer:

LIGHT ENERGY is converted to CHEMICAL ENERGY in the process of PHOTOSYNTHESIS

Explanation:

According to the law of conservation of energy, energy cannot be created nor destroyed but can only be changed from one form to another. This means that no form of energy gets destroyed but only transformed. This is evidently so in so many natural processes including the process of PHOTOSYNTHESIS undergone by plants.

Photosynthesis, which is the way plants obtain their food via sunlight, converts the LIGHT ENERGY of the sun to CHEMICAL ENERGY in glucose produced. Hence, photosynthesis obeys the law of conservation of energy.
