The statement "Most of the Indian Ocean is below the equator." is False.

This is further explained below.

What is the Indian Ocean?

Generally, An equator is a line that does not really exist that is imagined to go around the center of a planet or other celestial body. At a latitude of 0 degrees, it is located exactly halfway between the North Pole and the South Pole. There is a Northern Hemisphere and a Southern Hemisphere on this planet, which are separated by the equator. At the equator, the Earth is at its most expansive.

In conclusion, The Indian Ocean is the third biggest of the world's five oceanic divisions, encompassing a total area of 70,560,000 km2 and accounting for about 19.8% of the water that covers the surface of the earth. To the north, it is surrounded by Asia; to the west, it is surrounded by Africa; and to the east, it is surrounded by Australia.

Explain the causes of the public reaction associated with the red scare
motikmotik

Fallout Lore!!, just kidding. The US became very patriotic but was also constantly worried about the threat of total atomic annihilation. This caused many somewhat wealthy people to build actual fallout shelters in their backyards, especially during the fifties and sixties. Other than people almost constantly worrying about the cold war going hot, I can't think of much more going on at least in the US

What are the causes of the civil war
GuDViN [60]

Obviously, slavery was one. But it was caused because of the issue on whether or not the area the US was going to expand to, the new states, would be slave or not. South Carolina declared that if Lincoln was elected, they would secede. The South believed that their state rights were being attacked, and they legally had the right to secede. However, Lincoln also did not try hard to hold onto them, he did not punish the first states to secede which allowed the others to. And the strong Abolitionists in the North, though few, were mighty, and scared the Southerners. I'm not entirely sure of your options, but I hope this helps!

Mostly, it was because of slavery and the South fearing that their States Rights would be lost.
