The jessamine show to the reader is that she is losing interest in her relationship with Arobin.

Edna is no extended in complete control of her situation.

<h3>What realization is Edna beginning with?</h3>
  • Edna begins to learn that she is an independent being, individual, and woman. She no longer wishes to be an extension of her husband, or any man.
  • Rather, she wishes to create her own choices. As a man tries to tend to her needs, Edna grows increasingly dissatisfied with the ideas of a misogynist society.

<h3>Why did the author most probably choose an omniscient narrator?</h3>

The author uses an all-knowing narrator to reveal the thoughts and motivations of both characters. She had not much of anything to say to her father, for that point; but he did not antagonize her.

Hello, can you help me? It's due today.
Brums [2.3K]

Answer:

One evening, I <u>was going</u><u> </u>home with my cousin Ana. We <u>were walking </u>through the forest when we heard a strange noise. We looked around but it was dark and it <u>was raining</u>, so we didn’t see anything. We continued going home but then suddenly we stopped. Two people were in the path and they <u>were talking</u> loudly. We were really scared. There are many scary stories in our village. The most horrible story is about two women who were killed by a murderer while they <u>were working</u><u> </u>on their house. Maybe it was them? We thought about running away when one of the people said my name. It was my brother Mario – he <u>was waiting</u> for me to come home!

Which translations would fit in the blank in order to most effectively link reasons to evidence A: for example
Anuta_ua [19.1K]

The correct answer is option A ("For example").

When supporting any kind of argument, presenting evidence is always a great way of strengthening the reasoning for backing up a certain position. T<u>he phrase </u><u>"for example"</u><u> is commonly found as a way to introduce or link factual evidence to a previously stated argument.</u>

"Similarly" or "on the other hand" would be most commonly used to establish a comparisson; while "however" would point towards a counter-argument.

Hope this helps!
