Document B provides evidence that Americans were concerned about the growth of the Klu Klux Klan as from the description of document B Allen states the the Klan 'threatened' her. From this most Americans would find the Klan as a threat to them which would lead to them being more concerned. We can also see that Allen says 'by about fifty men'. The use of this suggests that lots of people were worried and had to warn her.
