stronger Coriolis force causes the winds of a hurricane to be so fast, coupling with the jet stream very strong pressure gradient force strong tidal effects strong coriolis effect.

The Coriolis force, which operates on moving objects inside a frame of reference that rotates relative to an inertial frame, is an imaginary or inertial force in physics.

The force applies to the left of the object's motion in a reference frame with clockwise rotation. The force acts to the right in an anti clockwise (or counterclockwise) rotating system.

The Coriolis effect is the bending of an object caused by the Coriolis force. The Coriolis force's mathematical expression first appeared in an 1835 paper by French scientist Gaspard-Gustave de Coriolis in conjunction with the theory of water wheels, even though it had been known to others earlier.

The Coriolis force became known in meteorology at the beginning of the 20th century.

How can you determine the direction a stream flows on a contour map
Vesna [10]
All water flows downhill, from areas of high elevation towards areas of lower elevation. The bending of the contour lines near the river always points uphill, which means RIVERS ALWAYS FLOW IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION FROM THE WAY THE CONTOUR LINES BEND.
