Answer:

You have no answer choices, but I hope that this helps with you writing your answer.

1. People have seen it and when we have documentation of eyewitness accounts, people believe what other people swear that they saw.

2. Sonar has been used to "see" the bottom of the lake/sea floor.  They claim that they cannot see it with the naked eye due to all of the stuff on the bottom of the lake, but sound waves have been used to "prove" Nessie exists.

3. Some say that Nessie is a plesiosaurus.  Maybe Nessie just did not evolve like the other plesiosaurs.  They died out a long time ago.

Explanation:

What epic works did Milton use as sources for his great work?
avanturin [10]
There are several epic works that Milton used as his source for Paradise Lost, the most important of which are Homer's Iliad and Odyssey. Apart from those works, he also found inspiration in Virgil's Aeneid, as well as Dante's Divine  Comedy.
His greatest inspiration is obviously The Bible, but that doesn't belong to epic narratives.

For the sentence, “The doctor helped the injured man and kept him from standing or speaking,” which is a transitive verb? A.help
aliya0001 [1]
The answer would be A, helped. A transitive verb is an action verb, which is a verb where someone does something physically or mentally, with an indirect object right after, or someone who receives the action of the verb. So, the action verb in the sentence is helped and the indirect object is the injured man, which makes the transitive verb "helped." Hope this helps!
