My interest in the above story titled "Noah barley water runs away" is given as follows:

"The second children's book by John Boyne is a contemporary yet timeless story about a boy who runs away from home and disappears into a dense forest.

Here, he finds a little toy store run by an elderly man who has a wealth of anecdotes to share that will help Noah prepare for and deal with a coming disaster in his home life." See the theme below.

What is the theme of "Noah barley water runs away"?

Best-selling author John Boyne addresses the theme of childhood and the experiences that might be had there in his book Noah Barleywater Runs Away.

On the day he chooses the less-traveled route through the woodland, Noah believes he is escaping his difficulties.

Why are Abraham Lincoln’s features exaggerated in this cartoon? to point out his imperfections to enhance the cartoon’s comment
MariettaO [177]

Answer:

B). To enhance the cartoon's comment or message.

Explanation:

Cartoons are the visual method to demonstrate or pinpoint a particular idea or message about a particular subject. In the given cartoon, the features of Abraham Lincoln are exaggerated to 'enhance the cartoon's comment or message'. The features are often overstated or amplified to mirror a particular message to the audience. In the given cartoon, Lincoln's features are inflated with a motive to inculcate a particular idea into the minds of the audience through visual representation. Thus, option B is the answer.

Well I won't write the essay for you but here's what i'll do,

Frankenstein is a novel filled with prejudice. He hopes for friendship with the blind father because he knows that if the blind man could see he would be horrified and be scared of Frankenstein, which would lead to Frankenstein having no friends and being lonely. People judge Frankenstein on his looks, which then label him as a monster. It's the reason why he lashes out at times and is forever angry at everyone because they treat him like the monster he looks like, but not necessarily he acts like a monster. Frankenstein just wants to be treated normal, he wants to have friends and be happy with the way he looks. This theme is relevant to society today because people are often changing the way they look, or wishing they looked another way because people will judge them based on how they look. People self harm, lash out, similiar to what Frankenstein does, and they are treated differently because of how they look.

Something along the lines of that. You can expand the topics as how you see fit. Hope that helps you, comment if you need help with this more. :)

xeze [42]

The man fails to consider the possibilities of what might go wrong. He fails to form a connection with nature or even with his dog who is trying to tell him to stop. The man simply sees his destination and is determined to get there. The man's lack of imagination puts him out of sync with the elements around him. This causes him to make crucial mistakes as he goes forward. He does not allow the very probable image of him freezing to death develop in his mind
