There are many possible reasons why we might find it difficult to conduct a particular type of research. Each difficulty is likely to result in a different type of complication. In this example, we learn that the problem that Caitlyn faces is that she struggles to find enough information on her subject. If the problem is lack of information, then it is likely that Caitlyn's focus is too narrow. As not many people are interested, or specialized in the subject, little information is available.
