what name do we give to the cell of circulating air between about 30° and 60° or S of the equator ?
Vilka [71]

Answer:

Ferrel Cell.

Explanation:

Ferrel cell is the circulating air that occurs between 30° and 60° or S of the equator. From 30° latitude to 60° latitude, a new cell is present which is known as the Ferrel Cell. This Ferrel cell produces prevailing westerly winds at the surface on these latitudes. Ferrel cell is a model for the wind circulation of mid-latitude segment of Earth which was proposed by William Ferrel in 1856.

An earthquake creates a type of wave that shacks the ground. If a large earthquake occurs in Greece, how can the waves be felt a
Andru [333]
Since Greece borders many seas and has many islands, even an earthquake in mainland Greece would still be able to affect the Southern coast of Italy, depending on the magnitude. The energy caused by the earthquake would be spread in a circle expanding from the center of the earthquake. It could easily reach the Ionian Sea west of Greece and if powerful enough, could send bigger than normal waves crashing onto the coasts of Italy’s regions of Sicily, Calabria, Basilicata, and Puglia

( 1 Why does a democratic country need a Constitution?
aksik [14]

Well, one reason a democratic country needs a constitution is because it tells us the fundamental nature of our society.

Fundamental - Forming a necessary base or core; of central importance

A Constitution helps serve as a set of rules and principles that all persons in a country can agree upon as the basis of the way in which they want the country to be governed.

A Constitution is necessary because it is an important law of the land. It determines the relationship of the citizens with the governments. It specifies on how the Government would be elected and who will have the power and the responsibility to take important decisions.

Hope this helps!
