The Flora and Fauna that can be found in Oklahoma is described majorly as Grasses growing in abundance.

   In the State of Oklahoma, there is predominantly native grases such as bluestem, buffalo, sand lovegrass, and grama grasses. The bluestem is found mostly in the eastern and central regions, and buffalo grass most common in the western counties, known as the "short grass country."

  In the eastern parts of the state, there are presence of deciduous hardwoods and red and yellow cactus which forms a bright coloration in the Black Mesa area in the northwest.
