Using an ANALOGOUS approach to developing cost estimates requires a good deal of expert judgment and is generally less costly than others, but it can also be less accurate.

For example, when a project manager develops a WBS by analyzing a similar project, then they are using the analogy or analogous approach.

Work Breakdown Structure or WBS is the basis for some projects' cost estimates if there's a plan to create a cost baseline and then use earned value management as part of monitoring and controlling costs. In project management, it is also a deliverable-oriented grouping of the work involved in a project that defines the total scope of the project, and it is often depicted in a graphical format like an organizational chart.

Unfortunately, analogous approach for WBS could be less accurate although it is generally less costly than other approaches.

You have agreed to loan some money to a friend at a simple interest rate of 150% which is outrageous but still about half of the
Cerrena [4.2K]

Answer:

We give our friend 437.5 dollars

Explanation:

We have to discount from 500 dollar the interest over time, as the 500 is the value our friend will return in 4 weeks ( a month) not the amount received Hence:

nominal x discount rate x time = discount

being rate and time in the same metric

rate is annual so we express time in portion of a year

500 x -1.5 x 1/12 = -62,5‬

We have to discount 62.5 dollar from the nominal

nominal less discount = present value

500 - 62.5 = 437.5

When each person specializes in producing the good in which he or she has a comparative advantage, total production in the econo
OLga [1]

Answer:

The correct answer is c) rises.

Explanation:

Each country in question will specialize in what is most efficient. At the same time, it will import the rest of the products in which they are most ineffective in terms of production. Although a country does not have an absolute advantage in producing any good, it may specialize in those goods in which it finds a greater comparative advantage and finally participate in the international market. In this sense, it can boost its foreign trade.

It is then the basic idea that countries choose to specialize in order to trade in activities where they have a certain advantage. That is, instead of producing what they do best in an absolute way, they produce what they do best in a relative way. Therefore, the difference with the theory of absolute advantage is that it does not produce what the country costs less, but the one with lower comparative costs.

Accounts payable $36,500, Accounts receivable $46,500, Capital stock $100,000, Cash $46,000, Dividends $10,000, Goodwill $47,000
kolbaska11 [484]

Answer:

The Charlie current ratio is 1.84 times

Explanation:

The formula to compute the current ratio is shown below:

Current Ratio = Current Assets ÷ Current liabilities

where,

Current assets = Cash + accounts receivable + inventory + prepaid expenses

= $46,000 + $46,500 + $32,000 + 4,400

= $128,900

And, the current liabilities equal to

= Accounts payable + interest payable + short term notes payable

= $36,500 + $3,500 + $30,000

= $70,000

Now put these values to the above formula

So, the ratio equal to

= $128,900 ÷ $70,000

= 1.84 times
