Maladaptive coping strategies tend to be associated with reduced adaptive capacity. Coping strategies, while helpful in the moment, are problematic in the long run. Maladaptive coping mechanisms, or maladaptive coping strategies, are  methods used by people to try to reduce  stress and anxiety, but they are ineffective and unhealthy.

There are two types of coping strategies in such situations: positive and negative. Maladaptive coping strategies commonly increase stress and anxiety,  including self-harm, binge eating, and substance abuse. The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior states that people struggling with addiction often struggle with the maladaptive coping strategies.

The mean cost of a meal for two in a mid-range restaurant in Tokyo is $40 (Numbeo website, December 14, 2014). How do prices for
natali 33 [55]

Answer:

a. 2.13. b. (30.53, 34.79). c. The mean prices for two in mid-range restaurants in Hong Kong are relatively less than those in Tokyo restaurants.

Explanation:

The size of the sample is 42 and the mean of the sample is ∑x_{i}n = 32.66 and the standard deviation of the sample (σ) is √[∑(x_{i}-μ)^2 - 1] = √46.6092 = 6.8271

a. α = 1 - (95/100) = 0.05; α/2 = 0.025; the degree of freedom = n-1 = 42-1 = 41; tα/2 = t0.025 = 2.02. Thus, the error margin = (tα/2)*(σ/√n) = 2.02*(6.83/√42) = 2.1279

b. Lower level limit = 32.66 - 2.1279 = 30.5321; Upper level limit = 32.66+2.1279 = 34.7879. The interval estimate = (mean± margin of error) = (30.53, 34.79).

c. The mean prices for two in mid-range restaurants in Hong Kong are relatively less than those in Tokyo restaurants.

For a recent year, McDonald's Company-owned restaurants had the following sales and expenses (in millions): Sales $25,700 Food a
Aleks [24]

Answer:

a. $9,338

b. 0.363

Explanation:

a. Contribution Margin  = Sales - Variable Cost

Where Sales = $25,700

Variable Cost = Food & Packaging + Payroll + 40% x General, Selling and Administrative expenses

V.C. = 8,982 + 6,500 + 40% * 3,700

V.C = 8,982 + 6,500 + 1,480

= $16,362

Therefore, Contribution Margin  = Sales - Variable Cost

= $25,700 - $16,362

=$9,338

b. McDonald's contribution margin ratio  = Contribution Margin / Sales

= $9,338 / $25,700

= 0.363

nalin [4]

Answer:

My answer would be don't go, Since we are almost in the red positive for Corona, U might have a chance of catching it from her or the people at her party. On the other hand, u can do a virtual party over the phone/laptop. I understand it's difficult to avoid your bestfriend because of Corona, but technically it's for your own good. If it makes you feel better, I had to miss my Bestfriend B-Day because I was scared to get Corona.

On January 1, Beckman, Inc., acquires 60 percent of the outstanding stock of Calvin for $54,480. Calvin Co. has one recorded ass
Sunny_sXe [5.5K]

Answer:

Beckman noncontrolling interest in subsidiary income $10,520

Calvin Machine (net of accumulated depreciation) $71,200

Explanation:

To calculate noncontrolling interest in subsidiary's income;

Revenue    $65,550

Expenses   $39,250 (29,250 + $6,800 + $3,200)

Net Income $26,300

Noncontrolling percentage = 40%

NonControlling Income = $10,520

Depreciation of Machine = \frac{Fair value of Machine - Book value}{estimated useful life}

\frac{78,000 - 10,000}{10 years} = 6,800 per annum

Amortization of trade secrets = \frac{Fair Value Total - Machine value}{Useful life}

Amortization of trade secrets = \frac{90,800 - 78,000}{4 years}

= 3,200

At September 1, 2022, Coronado Industries reported Retained Earnings of $397620. During the month, Coronado generated revenues o
Angelina_Jolie [31]

Answer:

Closing retained earning is $414,540

Explanation:

The Retained Earnings figure can be calculated using the following equation:

Closing Retained Earnings = Opening Retained Earnings + (Sales - Expenses - Dividends)

Here

Opening balance of Retained Earning is $397,620

Revenues is $56,400

Expenses are $33,840

Dividends paid are $5,640

The purchased equipment is not considered here because it is increase in asset not an increase or decrease in revenue or expenses. So it is not considered here.

So by putting values, we have:

Closing Retained Earnings = $397,620 + ($56,400 - $33,840 - $5,640)

Closing Retained Earnings = $414,540
