The correct sentence is "The two teenagers, Saul and she, usually have dinner ready when their grandmother gets home from work."

Nominative pronouns function as the subject of the sentence. This is why they are also known as subjective pronouns. Common nominative pronouns are I, you (both singular and plural), he, she, it, we, they and who.

Objective pronouns are used when something is being done to the subject. Common objective pronouns are me, you (both singular and plural), him, her, it, us, them and whom.

In the given sentence, the correct pronoun is "she". It is a subjective pronoun as it lies in the subject part of the sentence.

The subjects of the sentence are the two teenagers. Since the pronoun refers to one of the two subjects, it must be nominative. Of the given options, "she" is the nominative pronoun. Hence, it is correct.

SCORPION-xisa [38]

The correct answer is C. Many of the candidates.

The subject in a sentence is the noun or pronoun that is doing or being something. The verb expresses the action that the subject is doing or being. I can be a simple subject, a complete subject and a compund subject.

A simple subject is only a noun or pronoun. A complete subject includes all the modifiers. A compound subject includes more than one subject--for example, when there are two people performing an action.

In this sentence, the candidates are the ones who are speaking, so the <u>simple subject</u> is "<em>candidates"</em> and the <u>complete subject</u> is "<em>Many of the candidates"</em>.

What the world would be like if the Nazis had developed radio and radar first.
user100 [1]

Answer:

Impossible to say <u>(READ THE EXPLANATION)</u>

Explanation:

It is incredibly hard to say what would’ve/wouldn’t have happened for events that have passed. I imagine that they still would’ve lost (US would’ve caught up and far exceeded eventually). The Battle of the Atlantic would have been different. Although the British did develop radar first, the Germans used it far better and far more often than the Allies did. Actually, the Germans used a more advanced radar system that the allies didn‘t come up woth till perhaps the end of the war. The long and short of it is the same would’ve happens because the Germans used it better and more often than the Allies until about 1944.
