    The boy has ice cream as much as the girl.

1. El niño tiene un helado. La niña tiene un helado.

• El niño tiene un helado tanto como la niña.

Translation 2: He wrote two novels. His friend wrote two novels.

        He wrote as many novels as his friend.

2. El escribió dos novelas. Su amigo escribió dos novelas.

• El escribió  tantas novelas como su amigo.

Translation 3: Tomas reads four books. Enrique reads 4 books.

           Tomas reads as many books as Enrique.

3. Tomas lee cuatro libros. Enrique lee 4 libros.

• Tomas lee tanto libros como Enrique.

Translation 4: This lady earns a lot of money. The other lady a lot of money.

       This lady earns as much money as the other lady.

4. Esta señora gana mucho dinero. La otra señora mucho dinero.

• Esta señora gana dinero tanto como la otra dinero.

Translation 5: I receive six letters. Maria receives six letters.

        I receive as many letters as Maria.

5. Yo recibo seis cartas. María recibe seis cartas.

• Yo recibo tantas cartas como María.
