After school, Byron surprised Kenny by acting almost proud of him. Kenny had anticipated Byron would torment him. Kenny stood up for him, and Byron was really proud of him.

<h3>How does Kenny feel about Byron?</h3>

Let's face it: We all enjoy seeing Byron get into mischief just as much as Kenny does. When Byron arrives home, his hairdo is so awful that Dad has to shave his head or he sets small parachutes on fire in the shower, he never fails to make things interesting. Even while some of these are amusing, some just make us wince.

Kenny is terrified because he knows that Byron will embarrass him and beat Kenny in retaliation if he makes a mistake or comes out as nerdy to the kids.

I would say the correct answer is - she thinks that Higgins deserved it.
Here is a quote from the text to prove it:
<em>"And then you were surprised because she threw your slippers at you! I should have thrown the fire-irons at you."
</em>You can see here that she wasn't mad or surprised she did it - it was to be expected.

In-s [12.5K]

Answer: As humans, we have a natural want, an urge if you will, to be near people. We want to fit in somewhere, to be told you belong. It's acceptance, and it's normal, being alone without human interaction is more of an unnatural want, and is usually brought on by past experience.
