Having listened to the excerpt form Vivaldi's Concerto, it is clear that the meter can be described as; "Simple Duple"

What is a meter?

Metre, usually written Meter, is a rhythmic pattern in music that is formed by combining fundamental temporal units, known as beats, into regular measures, or bars.

Each measure in Western notation is separated from the ones next to it by bar lines.

Who is Vivaldi?

Antonio Vivaldi, full name Antonio Lucio Vivaldi, was an Italian composer and violinist who influenced the concerto form and the manner of late Baroque instrumental music.

He was also a Roman Catholic priest and one of the most important musicians of Baroque Italy.

His violin concerti are frequently played by modern orchestras, especially The Four Seasons, one of his most famous works.

ollegr [7]

Answer:

Hard Bop

Explanation:

Hard Bop was birthed as an opposition to cool jazz of 1950s and was played mostly by urban musicians (from Philadelphia and Detroit) reflecting an East Coast, extroverted response to urban life.

While cool jazz preferred a light timbre, hard bop preferred a sound that was heavy, dark and impassioned. The saxophone of choice was tenor which replaced the alto and drummers played in a more assertive style.
