Hepatic encephalopathy (HE) is a neuropsychiatric disease that can be completely reversed and only manifests in the presence of severe liver impairment. Patients with cirrhosis can show one of two unique types. both the overt, quickly diagnosable version, and the subclinical form.

Treatment for liver disease includes taking prescription drugs and making lifestyle adjustments, such as giving up alcohol. Eat foods low in salt and high in vitamins. Exercise regularly and stay away from certain medications
