#SPJ4

Read the excerpt from a story. "Oops! Oh, no . . .” Jenna eyed the spill as it spread across the lab table. She tried in vain to mop up the water, but there was too much liquid for her flimsy paper towel. Her notes were ruined, and an ache spread deep in her gut. Tears threatened to fall. When I approached table two, I saw no progress. "Apparently this group is creating chaos instead of chemistry,” I declared. "It seems nobody here is interested in conducting an experiment.” How does the perspective change in the excerpt? It changes from an old-fashioned perspective to a modern perspective. It changes from a scientific perspective to a practical perspective. It changes from a student’s perspective to her teacher’s perspective. It changes from a student’s perspective to her classmate’s perspective.

Can I get some help with these please I need to put it in better sentences
evablogger [386]
These sentences are split into clauses (parts of a sentence), and your assignment is to rewrite the sentences with different ways to connect the two clauses.  The example connects the clauses in 3 ways: a comma and "and", a colon, and a period to totally split the clauses.

For the first question, your 3 sentences should be
"Ben ran a good race, and he came in second."
"Ben ran a good race: he came in second."
"Ben ran a good race.  He came in second."

The next question:
"We applauded the actress, and she came out for a second bow."
"We applauded the actress: she came out for a second bow."
"We applauded the actress.  She came out for a second bow."

Just do this for the next two, and you should be good!
