The most significant breakthrough in forensic science since the development of fingerprints is DNA profiling

DNA profiling refers to a technique of forensic in criminal investigations, that compares criminal suspects' profiles like fingerprint profile to DNA evidence.

This is done in order to know whether the person was involved in crime or not. It definitely has been a breakthrough.

It is also used in paternity testing thus helping and leading to development of science.

It is significant because it will eventually help in solving criminal profile cases. It will also act as a deterrence on crime.

Dr. Peerless has designed a test to measure the level of scientific knowledge in high school graduates. To establish a norm agai
Brilliant_brown [7]

Answer:

The correct answer to the following question will be "Standardizing the test".

Explanation:

  • A standardized test seems to be a test available for students in a much more straightforward way, indicating that the test questions will be the same, the time allowed to each participant is still the same and the form in which the questionnaire is graded for all participants would be the same.
  • Dr. Peerless invented a study to assess the extent of the current understanding of graduates of the school. To create a standard that could be represented as well as counted against sub scores. So that Dr. is in the process of this standardized test.

Thus, the above is the right answer.

Indicate how militant white opposition gradually undermined the Republican attempt to empower southern blacks.
vivado [14]

Answer:

Militant white opposition was able to gradually undermine the initial attempts to empower southern blacks by layering on different legislative measures to restrict African American participation again, like literacy  restrictions for voting and having to pay poll taxes.

Explanation:

Reconstruction led to many back and forth measures on the part of the federal government and the Southern States that were seeking to re-enter the Union but were still resentful of the social changes being mandated from Washington.  The radical Republicans in the House and Senate had made the state governments in the South ratify Amendments like the 14th and 15th that granted civil rights to all African Americans. After the initial hesitation and back-stepping that occurred with President Johnson, the House and Senate were able to pressure the Southern States to adopt more progressive measures. For a few years there was black representation in many states and even some Congressmen and Senators were elected federally like Hiram Rhodes Revels and Jefferson F. Long. But that was soon rescinded as the states started adopting legislative measures to restrict African American participation again, like voting restrictions and having to pay poll taxes.

Someone who believes that humans and animals are fundamentally different from each other would agree with the views of:A) Plato.
VARVARA [1.3K]

Answer:

B) Charles Darwin.

Explanation:

With a solid reputation as a geologist and naturalist, Darwin turned to questions about the origin of species and came to the conclusion that life was infinitely variable, where each animal was different from each other. At a time when animals were believed to be bred as they were seen, Darwin spoke of evolution. For this reason we can say that anyone who believes that humans and animals are fundamentally different from each other would agree with Darwin's views.
