Answer: They would not be part of the European Union, and still have their own currency. European countries would have less inclination to trade with them and there may even be US embargos causing the country to remain poor and have difficulty getting goods from the outside. Their trading partners would be from places farther away like China and Russia who support such governmental systems. They wouldn't have the freedoms that they do now, as that is how dictatorships work, without support of other fascist governments like they had in the 40's, they would be completely on their own, surrounded by democratic countries. This would cause isolation and a negative view of their government see North Korea, Cuba, Eritrea, Uzbekistan, Zimbabwe, for further ideas on the lives and economic struggles of the people who live there.
