Answer:

Explanation:

How I've Learned To Overcome Setbacks In My Life And Career ... I didn't learn from it–and the many people I know that have done the same. ... One example of a setback would be if you had a project slated to start on

1. Setbacks are usually relatively minor–“hiccups,” really, in that they don't actually stop you. They're more like speed bumps–they simply slow you down. Think of them as a problem that makes your progress harder or success less likely. Roadblocks are obstacles that do a little bit more than just slow you down.

How do people face death? How do the characters in the text face death differently from each other? How does this experience dif
Alisiya [41]

"The Landlady" by Roald Dahl is a story that has a weird unusual hobby of taxidermy. She stuffs dead corpses. This hobby of her and how she deals with death is absolutely scary, at the same time interesting for readers to know her intentions behind it.

Explanation:

Billy, another main character of this story, is 17 and is annoyed by the acts of the Landlady. He thinks her to be odd and manner less as she keeps touching his hands and shoulders while talking to him. Her compliments on his appearance make Billy feel very uncomfortable, every time they have a conversation.

When the story progresses and readers get to know that the Landlady stuffed her dead pets in a briefcase and does the same with human bodies too, readers along with Billy start wondering about what kind of a sinister this woman is. She finally murders both other boys and stuff them like she did with the pets, at the end of the story.

What are some examples of direct and indirect characterization in “the cast of amontillado”
Novosadov [1.4K]

The direct characters in The Cask of Amontillado are Montresor (the first-person narrator) and the ironically-named Fortunato, his inadvertent enemy. No one else appears in the story, but reference is made to several indirect characters.Luchesi is a man known to both Montresor and Fortunato. He has a reputation as a connoisseur of wine and is therefore a rival to Fortunato in this respect. Fortunato contemptuously dismisses his expertise, but this may be mere bravado. Montresor uses repeated references to Luchesi as a form of reverse psychology to lure Fortunato into the vaultMontresor's disobedient servants are also mentioned. We do not know how many there are, but the fact that he has several makes us question his claim to be a ruined man. He has expressly told them to stay in the house and is cynically certain that this is the way to ensure their departureLady Fortunato is mentioned by her unfortunate husband. She will be waiting, in company, at the palazzo.
